18K Antique OMC Diamond Halo Ring with Sleeping Beauty Turquoise

A little bit talisman, a little bit treasure—and with its watchful, almost “evil eye” appearance, this antique beauty has plenty of personality.

She recently got a glow-up in the form of a gorgeous Sleeping Beauty turquoise cabochon at her center. The round cab has absolutely breathtaking saturation and is beautifully showcased by 12 delicate prongs, giving that vivid blue stone plenty of presence.

Surrounding the turquoise is a halo of 10 old mine cut diamonds, totaling approximately .30CT. I especially love the pretty milgrain detailing along the edges of the crossover design—it’s the kind of little antique detail that makes a ring like this so special.

The ring is stamped 18K (English), though the remaining hallmarks are indistinguishable.

Currently a size 7.25, but thanks to her nice, slim shank, she fits comfortably up to approximately a 7.75.

A wonderfully unusual combination of antique diamonds, vivid turquoise, and just enough talismanic mystery. 💙
